Chesapeake College smashes opening-day record
Torrential rains were matched by a flood of students as Chesapeake College opened its Spring 2010 semester with multiple enrollment records.
Swine Flu Information
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has developed a Swine Flu website (http://www.cdc.gov/swineflu) with the latest information and everyday actions people can take to stay healthy. In addition, Dr. Viniar has issued a Message from the President concerning steps the college has taken and advice for employees and students on preventing the spread of flu.
Summer 2010 Schedule
Summer 2010 schedule is available for viewing only - Search for credit classes
Advising and registration begins Mar. 29, 2010. Walk-in hours are Monday - Thursday 10 am - 6 pm. Fridays by appointment only.
Classes begin June 9, 2010.
Chesapeake College extends spring semester by a week
Chesapeake College will extend its Spring 2010 semester by a week in response to missing a week of class time due to the pair of recent blizzards.
Spring semester classes will now end May 14th instead of May 7th, with final exams administered May 17-21. Half-semester classes, which were scheduled to run through the first seven weeks of the semester, will also be extended one week.
The college's annual commencement will take place as planned on Wednesday, May 26th.
